What is the rate of exchange applied on claims outside Lebanese territories?

Actual rate of exchange at the time of medical expense incurred is taken for reimbursement of medical claim expense

What is the co-insurance amount?

Coinsurance is a percentage of the service charge that your health plan calculates for you.

How do I report a complaint against a facility/service?

  • To report a complaint, go to medivisa website and press “complaint”
  • Our Helpline agents will resolve minor issues within the scope where possible and guide you on the procedure in forwarding a written complaint.

What is recommended for online ambulatory approval?

  • Go to the health care center
  • Unified prescription with medical diagnosis
  • Previous tests results if repeated
  • Copy of insurance & identity card

Can a direct refund claim be done through bank transfer or cheque?

Payments direct refund claims are done through issuing cheques in the name of the policy holder.

What is recommended for online Pharmacy benefit management?

Can I get an approval for ambulatory services online?

Yes. Medivisa built an advanced online system to control both acute & chronic prescriptions in addition to ambulatory services   based on the combination of the policy terms & conditions with the member medical history & necessity.

How can I get my medical pre-authorization letter for cold cases?

  • Download the hospitalization claim form.(here)
  • Choose the health care provider
  • Visit the nearest MV branch or main office
  • Submit the complete claim form with all results to the MV delegate
  • Your medical pre-authorization  letter will be ready within 24 hours
  • It is valid for 10days
  • The coverage letter will be based on your policy terms & conditions.
